New Construction in Existing Condominium Building

In 2005, Shay Construction converted from raw space this 2,000 sq. ft. contemporary condominium on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. The residence includes extensive millwork and contemporary details as well as a fully-integrated Crestron home automation system with lighting and audio control. To reduce heat gain due to the significant southern exposure, silent Lutron Sivoia QED™ (Quiet Electronic Drive) shades were incorporated in the design. The shades are noise-free and can be controlled throughout the home using the home automation system. The residence exemplifies the seamless integration of cutting edge technology with natural materials and textures.
