Partial Gut and Renovation in Existing Condominium Building

This project, locate in the Historic Barclay Hotel on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, was completed in 2005. The owners wanted to retain the historic mouldings and feel of the Barclay while modernizing the unit and creating a comfortable, contemporary environment for living and entertaining. The project involved updating mechanical systems, installation of new state-of-the-art kitchen, and extensive use of contemporary styled French doors and custom millwork. This unique contemporary condominium is featured in the book Spectacular Homes of Greater Philadelphia, published in April 2006.
