Selective Renovation

In 2007, Shay Construction completed extensive renovations to this beautiful early-1900s Tudor estate on the Main Line. The renovation consisted of converting an existing two-car garage into a kitchen, transforming the former kitchen into an entry and mud room, adding a butler’s pantry and powder room, and relocating and improving access to a basement playroom and media room. Careful attention was given to preserving the historic charm and replicating the authentic details of the home. This attention to materials, architectural details, and craftsmanship helped to successfully transform the garage into a kitchen that feels as though it has always been a part of the home.
