New Construction in Historic Building

This private residence is located in the historic Barclay Hotel on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. Construction of this elegant home included the use of many unique materials and building methods, including Venetian plaster, decorative plaster mouldings, stained glass windows, hand-painted wood floors, domed ceilings, custom-made embossed leather panels set in coffered ceilings and reclaimed antique English millwork. The residence was featured in the September 2002 issue of Architectural Digest.
